The Allevol Safari Jacket draws inspiration from the timeless elegance of the 1950's U.S. Air Force (USAF) Tropical/Safari Jacket. An ode to the past, its unique design pays homage to a rich history that dates back to the turn of the 20th century, a time when British & European forces were stationed in Africa and Asia during WWII.
Crafted with utmost precision in the UK, the Allevol Safari jacket is full of details capturing the essence of the original design. The fabric is inspired by the highly breathable fabric used on the 1950's British Army Bush Jacket, known as Airtex. With such an open weave, this Airtex style fabric boasts highly breathable properties allowing for wear in the most extreme conditions.
Two symmetrical chest bellows pockets with button closure have been paired with two lower pockets while the belted waist helps aid fit and can be removed easily if desired. The epaulettes on the shoulder are a nod to the original garment while a woven Allevol label completes the look.
